Almost finished with this trimester guys! Only a few more left... my goal for next trimester, MORE ORGANIZATION! Time is tight, have to start planning observations now!

Chapter 3 - Class Text

Essentially chapter three, Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts by Will Richardson, was about integrating blogs into the classroom and utilizing them as educational tools. He urges that you should start small in order to familiarize students. He also urges the importance of internet safety and security. The cyber world is ever-evolving and teachers must keep abreast of all issues concerning student well-being on the web.
The chapter, to me, stressed how important it is to use web technology is a safe and responsible manner. All sorts of nasty things have happened to children as a result of their exploration on the web. It becomes the role of the teacher to instruct safe web practices and things to avoid while navigating in the online world.
